Let’s go to Germany and hide in the Black Forest!! Hosted by Mississippi-based artist, the scintillating Adam Trest, we’ll slip into our luxury chalet hideaway for the week alongside the Elz River. Adam will lead his guests in a week of sketching, journaling, and enhancing their pathways to creative production. Adam is an experienced teacher, and he is so excited to share this week, steeped in fairy tales and forest lore, with you. The pastry queens of southern baking will host their first Reverie retreat in the Loire Valley! Cheryl Day and Nicole Rucker have plans to show you a good time in the Château de Jalesnes - playing with apples the French way (Apple Cake! Tarte Tatin!) , making layered pastry crusts (let’s make a vol-au-vent!) , and they’ll show you how to make a show-stopping brunch in the Frenchiest way. These two are a riot together, and their skills and knowledge flow generously. It is such a treat to have them with us next year!!

OCTOBER 23 - 28, 2025

Spend a week with Phyllis and Lisa in the kitchen, in the writer’s room and out and about in the Riviera. The location will afford us the opportunity to explore the best of coastal France, and the work we’ll do in the kitchen will only inspire more focus and fodder for our writing practice. We will be staying at the Château Saint Georges, and we can’t wait to spend time together in the stunning Grande Cuisine, studded with blue marble accents in true Provençale Baroque fashion. Psst: The château also has a lower-level spa, with a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge – so, get ready to relax and pamper yourself in one of the most beautiful regions of France.
